Make Benny’s Presence Known- Increasing student attendance to the games

Objectives

Make any gameday an EVENT:

Students are motivated by freebies like prizes and raffles, or want accessible food options,
specials, or discounts.

Promotion & Awareness:

Students lack information on game times and events.
Social Connections & Community Feel:

Students attend when friends or clubs are involved.
Cultural solution/ Goal: Make Benny the Face of Pride
Modernizing a 175-year-old institution required bridging the legacy and Gen Z by figuratively “wearing the mascot
persona” to understand the audience's cultural heartbeat. It is connected to the City College, linking the past and present
in a way that resonates with them.

  • Students desire a campus spirit that truly reflects them.

  • Higher academic satisfaction and a higher sense of community.

  • One hour in a typical week on extracurricular activities.

First, we’ll team up with Student Life and USG to create a video or reel TV series on Benny the Beaver’s POV, antics,
and personality.

Second, we’ll make a TikTok and Instagram
account for Benny and all
his shenanigans.
